1) Is the LAN BYOC?- Yes, you will have to bring your computer for the event, we do not provide any PC's for LAN attendees.  This means you will have to bring everything including your own monitor, PC, keyboard, mouse, Ethernet cable (25 feet), monitor, etc.  NO SPEAKERS ALLOWED!

2) Do you have to pay extra to play in the Quake Live Tournament?- No, this is a free and open event to all LAN attendees

3) What are the prizes for QuakeLive- These will be announced when secured by the sponsors. 

4) What is the maplist for the tournament?- T7, DM6, DM13, ZTN, T9

5) When can we sign up?- Signups will begin at the beginning of June, which you can at that point prepay, and choose your own seating.

6) What ruleset will be used?- For every round except for the finals, it will be bo3 maps, decided on Toss, Toss, Pick, Pick, and the tie breaker map being the 5th map in the rotation.   Finals will be bo5

7) Is there cheating allowed?- In the event someone is caught cheating, you will be disqualified, and you will be removed from the LAN without a refund.  There is ZERO tolerance for cheating.

8) Is there trash talking allowed?- We at MPCon agree that trash talking is part of the competition.  We ask that you refrain from using chat during all matches when live, and keep cursing to a minimum.  Any racial or sexual slurs used will result in an automatic forfeit of that round.  We have to do this due to the building being open to the public. 

9)Can we use FPS configs or GUIs?- Yes

10)Do we have to do the QuakeLIVE Tutorial?- Yes, if you have not completed the tutorial, please make sure to do so, or you will be disqualified.

11)Will we be playing on LAN Servers?- No.  We do not have the ability to host our own private servers, so we will be using internet servers, connection to Chicago (and Toronto for backup)
